DWCC started in 2010 when a group of friends decided that there was no sense in just talking about renewal, we needed to jump in and be part of the solution while doing life together. Some moved downtown to work with others already present. Others joined in by doing life downtown as much as possible. Our church roots still affect us - that our faith is not segregated to an hour per week but shapes our everyday life— by being hopeful,
gracious, neighbourly, hospitable, compassionate, and looking out for others. DWCC is the structure that enables us to organize the activities that bring people together and advocate change for the good.
From Easter to Thanksgiving, every Tuesday Evening at
5:30 pm theres a neighbourhood potluck supper
in Bruce Park.
